Greg Hankins, CEO; BS, MA
Greg has over two decades of ownership and management of outpatient rehabilitation clinics. He has proven expertise in developing physical, occupational, and speech therapy programs. He has partnered with hospitals and established and expanded clinic operations to multiple sites. Greg set a vision for aquatic therapy in Kansas City and supported his therapy staff in the development of Phased Progression, an intellectual property utilized daily by Synergy staff. Greg also created Synergy Solutions LLC, a consulting firm, to provide support, training and management of hospitals, skilled nursing, and privately owned physical therapy centers. Clients can maximize profits through his innovative approach to service line development. Greg lectures on entrepreneurialism at community colleges and university MBA programs and he has a passion for community service and is an ordained minister and author.

Danielle Hinson, Clinic Director; DPT, TPS, FMT
Danielle received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of Saint Mary in May 2015 and graduated with a BS in Exercise Science from Central Christian College in 2011. Danielle recently completed training and is now a Therapeutic Pain Specialist (TPS) with training completed through the International Spine and Pain Institute. Danielle is experienced in post-operative and orthopedic care, as well as balance training post-concussion and falls. She is also certified in Fascial Movement Taping (FMT) level 1 and 2 for sport, posture, pregnancy, edema, and pain. Outside of Synergy, she enjoys spending time with her growing family and cheering on KC sports.

Specializing in aquatic therapy, Scott has developed and copyrighted an objective approach to aquatic therapy: Phased Progression, a water- to-land plan of progressive care. He created an aquatics-based Certified Education Unit (CEU) to meet continuing education and training standards. He also serves as a consultant to a manufacturer of state-of-the-art warm water pools. Scott collaborates with universities and colleges to train physical therapists and physical therapist assistants. In addition, Scott has been instrumental in bringing physical therapy service and equipment to Kenya.

Janeisha Griggs, DPT
Janeisha was born and raised in St. Louis, MO but fell in love with the Kansas City area during her undergraduate education at Rockhurst University. Janeisha
graduated in 2014 with a major in Macrobiology and a minor in Physics of Medicine. She then went on to receive her masters degree in 2016 at the University of
Missouri St Louis, during which she was exposed to physical therapy and found her passion in life- inspiring and helping others to love and appreciate the amazing
things our bodies were created to do. Janeisha graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2020 from Southwest Baptist University. During her
time as a student she was selected to attend a physical therapy mission trip to Cap Haitien, Haiti during which her and her team were able to provide physical therapy services and healthcare education. This trip gave Janeisha a new perspective on her field and a drive to always be an advocate for her patients. During school Janeisha had the opportunity to work with patients of all ages in a variety of areas including: total joint replacements, spinal cord injuries, strokes, chronic pain and sports injuries. Her professional interests include pelvic floor rehabilitation, pain management and orthopedics management. When not in the clinic she enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking with her dog Maverik, trying new foods and traveling!

LeAnne earned her Associates in Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Penn Valley Community College in October of 2013 as well as an Associates of Arts degree from Longview Community College in earlier years. Prior to working for Synergy her background was in multiunit business operations which included customer service satisfaction, day to day operations and human resource training of all new employees. The transition to physical therapy was made based off her interest in natural healing methods and physical fitness. Her passion to help others and interest in aquatic therapy led her to Synergy Therapies in January of 2016. She brings experience, diligence and competency to patient care with heavy emphasis on manual therapy techniques in combination with functional and therapeutic exercise. When away from Synergy, LeAnne enjoys spending time with family and friends watching Kansas City Chiefs football and Royals baseball. She also enjoys working out, bicycling, gardening and most warm weather outdoor activities.

Mykala Chandler, PTA
Mykala has been with Synergy Therapies since February 2018. Mykala has received her Associate in Arts degree with focus on science at Blue River Community College. Additionally, she has earned her Associate in Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Concorde Career College. Prior to graduating from college Mykala was a frequent flyer of physical therapy after having multiple hip surgeries as well as a knee surgery which actually helped amplify her interest in the field. Mykala has experience in pelvic floor therapy, outpatient therapy, inpatient rehabilitation, as well as skilled nursing therapy. Mykala was drawn to the aquatic therapy and its healing properties after completing a clinical rotation during college and her own rehab at Synergy Therapies. Outside of work Mykala enjoys spending time with her family and pets, participating in outdoor activities, and taking vacations to new and exciting places |

Laura McWhorter, Secretary/Operations
Laura joined Synergy in November 2018 as the Front Office Coordinator. She knows how to relate to people and enjoys seeing them smile. She is a "multi-tasker" and is highly effective as the gate keeper of patient focused daily operations. Outside of Synergy, Laura enjoys spending time with her family, and anything outdoors.

Jane Hopkins-Seems, Secretary Oak Grove
Jane joined Synergy June 2020 as Office Assistant. She enjoys greeting patients
with a smile. Jane serves as Director of the Children's Ministry at her church. She volunteers with several philanthropic organizations. In her spare time she loves spending time with family; flower gardening, pets, Corvettes and car shows.
